The Inside Job is an 8 Week online (Zoom) Program
It is A Journey Of Self-Discovery That Takes You Within
To The Inner Workings That Are At The Core
Of Why You Struggle With Depression.

The Inside Job:
 Gail Kerschner RN, ACRN
shares her incredible
journey of healing

The process that I used is based on the work of Michael Cavallaro, renowned author and self-help mentor.

By sharing my own experience I will take you through the process that moved me from just surviving to thriving after dealing with depression for over 45 years. I went from wanting to die every day to enjoying life more than I ever dreamed possible and have been off medication for 24 years.

I will facilitate this course in a way that is safe interactive and enjoyable. Just know that you will feel different and have a new perspective by the end of the eight weeks!

Gail

This New Approach to Depression is particularly helpful to Individuals who:

Despite traditional treatment such as therapy and/or medication still feel depressed
Have a desire to feel even better
Have controlled the symptoms of depression but rarely experience true joy and peace
Who want to thrive not just survive with their depression
Are unhappy with their current treatment or are taking medication but have side effects and would like to try a different approach
Are tired of feeling victimized by the people and events in their life that they blame for their depression and want to learn how to take charge of their life
Feel trapped or hopeless that life will never get any better than this

The Inside Job is a process
that has only 2 requirements:

A desire to change!
A willingness to do whatever it takes to make these changes!

Are you ready to change your life?

It is important when doing this process, you keep in mind the following:

  • This is not a quick fix that will instantly have you feeling better, but once you begin this work you will start to notice changes, some very obvious and others more subtle.

  • Inner Workings is not meant to replace what you are already doing for your depression.  It is meant to serve as a next step and adjunct to what you have been doing to help yourself.

  • This process will be individualized for all who participate. Each of us has our own journey at our own pace so there are no timelines or goals. You will be the one who determines what you want to do because your answers are inside of you and nobody has those answers but you.

  • This process can be ongoing for as long as you want to make changes. You will find our facilitators continue to do their own work. There is always something new we can discover about ourselves and there are no limits to peace and joy!

The Inside Job online (zoom) course
will assist you by:

getting to the root causes of your depression
helping you understand how these root causes can be eliminated
helping you to understand yourself and your life experiences and how the way you dealt with them contributed to your depression
freeing yourself from feeling trapped by your depression
giving you a new understanding of your depression and eliminating patterns and behaviors that fuel your depression
teaching you tools that you can use on your own to deal with your depression
providing you with an opportunity to truly be self-empowered and in charge of your life rather than a victim of your depression or circumstances
opening the door to a life of joy and peace that you so richly deserve and is your entitlement as a human being
moving you toward self-love and eliminating the negative messages and self-talk that contribute to your depression
providing you with support in a safe environment with a mentor who has done this process themselves rather than just studying it in a book

These eight videos will give you a taste of what you will learn by taking "The Inside Job" online (zoom) course.

Welcome to the Inside Job

This video invites the viewer to begin to think about depression differently and defines The Inside Job. Gail shares her own experience with depression and inspires the viewer to think about their depression and consider if they are content with where they are at or, like Gail, find that they want more joy in their life or are not content with where they are at with their depression. It provides another option to deal with depression by encouraging the viewer to look “within” for their answers to their depression.

Do You Want to Change?

In this video Gail discusses the first step of the process that helped her end her depression by encouraging the viewer to take an honest look at whether they want their life to change or if they are happy where they are at. It lets the viewer know that the choice is theirs and the only requirements to do this process are a desire to want to change their life and the willingness to do what it takes. By Gail sharing her own experience with this, the viewer will be assisted to discern if they want to begin this process of finding their own answers within.

What Makes You Unhappy?

In step 2 of her process Gail invites the viewer to begin to look at what things in their life still cause them difficulty and unhappiness that contribute to their depression. She does this by examples from her own life so that the viewer can increase their awareness of the things that may not be working well for them that contribute to their depression.

Owning Your Part in the Process

Step 3 challenges the viewer to begin to understand how their life experiences and the resulting beliefs and behaviors from those experiences contribute to their depression. By taking ownership without blame or judgment the viewer can now look within and increase awareness of their part in their depression.

What’s the Payoff?

Again through her own experiences Gail shares step 4 where she had to look at the perceived benefits or “payoff” for her behaviors to understand why she did what she did. It is about owning that there is a payoff for behaviors and understanding the impact of continuing them and how they contribute to depression. By understanding the perceived payoff the viewer can now see that they can change their behaviors and change the contributors to their depression.

Birds of a Feather…

Step 5 explores how we attract people, places and things in our life to support our beliefs. Gail explains how this repetitive cycle of attracting the same things over and over again in her life contributed to her depression. This gives the viewer the opportunity to see how supporting their beliefs by repetitively attracting these things to support them, is something they can change and ultimately change their depression.

Trailing Back to Find Answers

Gail explains the process of trailing her beliefs in order to find the root of them and where they started which in turn helped her find the root of her depression. She shares difficulties that arise in this process and provides encouragement in how to surmount the obstacles. The viewer will find that getting to the root of their beliefs will be the key to breaking free from their depression.

Clearing the Beliefs

The closing video talks about clearing the beliefs as the final step to have the viewer free themselves from their depression. There are resources provided and an invitation to the viewer to continue their journey by working with Gail on their own difficulties.

book cover

“This is a book written by a friend and co-worker, however, my review is unbiased. It was a brave choice for her to share her personal story. The book follows her struggles with depression and concludes with her journey of healing from the inside out. At the end of each chapter she provides "Reflective Questions" for those reading the book who are trying to seek relief from their own depression. It is not a book that provides a "cure-all" for depression but rather provides resources, tools and information on the subject in an easy to follow style. I would recommend it for anyone who is battling or has a loved one who is suffering from depression.”

Depression IS an inside job

“Love, love, love this book!! Gail is a writer from the heart. She uncovered and opened up so much of her “inside” self that to me her life now feels more like a journey of experience rather than plodding along in life. As I was reading it, I was feeling that anything you are going through such as ADHD, Anxiety disorder, Eating disorder, PTSD, relationship issues, etc. and are willing and open to let the light shine deep inside to what is keeping you from the joys of life then this is the book that can assist you to start to wake up!! Plus, using her resources at www.adeleandmichael.com have assisted me on my life journey and I am forever grateful:) Thank you Gail, Adele and Michael for all you do to make this world a place of contentment!!💜”
